The Phoenix Effect is a lesbian-owned strength and conditioning gym that helps athletes of all levels get stronger, prevent injury, and find a like minded community. Located on Melrose avenue since 2014, they have helped over 10,000 angelinos from pros from the NBA, NHL, and MLB and US Olympic athletes, to a whole lot of rec league players, to regular office warriors.
The Phoenix Effect also runs the Sapphletic Club - a free monthly women’s/nb strength training meet up.
